    A Gastric Balloon is a non-surgical, temporary weight loss device that is placed in the stomach to help with weight loss. It is designed to take up space in the stomach, which can make you feel fuller faster and reduce your food intake.
    The Gastric Balloon is inserted into the stomach through the mouth using an endoscope (a flexible tube with a camera on the end). Once inside the stomach, the balloon is filled with a sterile saline solution to expand it to about the size of a grapefruit.
    The Gastric Balloon is typically left in place for about six months. After this time, it is removed in a similar procedure to the one used for insertion.
